As part of Canada Lands’ commitment to preserving the protected woodlot on the Arbo property, soil remediation work is planned this fall.
Work is expected to be completed by late October and will involve restoring the soil and reseeding the areas where some of the military housing was in the past.
The woodlot and surrounding trails will remain accessible to the public. Specific areas will be fenced off, with equipment on site periodically.
